Smooth Head and Body Turns

Smooth Head and Body Turns

Hi guys, How do I get those smooth head turns and body turns?

You animate them by hand. The more drawings, the smoother the movement will be. You could either pre-fabricate the phases of a head turn and put them into a switch layer, or you could do a frame-by-frame point aninmation, or you spend some time to build a rig as described elsewhere which could do a decent smooth head turn in a limited range but will only work for certain styles.

I have not learned what a switch layer is yet. I'm just starting out!

For head turns also watch DarthFurby's video tutorials. There are tree videos and uses actions to perform head turn. (Tips and Techniques sub forum).
Also don't loose ***Resources*** sticky post in same sub forum. Lots of interesting threads there.

Are you having any problems with the links to the lessons? When I click those links to the lessons the pages are blank!

Ok, I will do that. Maybe the video is taing a while to download. I have another question, I am woring on my first character (The Greek One) I made is head too big and need to make it smaller so I can draw in the torso, how do I do this? Also can I make the stage bigger?
