The 5th Floor- FINISHED film!

Post by spoooze! »

After 3 months of hard work, The 5th Floor is now finished!

http://www.nranimation.com/floorfive.htm

"SWAT officer Spike Kresol investigates the mysterious Utopia Project which's secret lies behind a locked door leading to the 5th floor...
Filled with mystery, twists, turns, and humor, The 5th Floor is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat."

The film is released in two parts.

Enjoy!

Hi spooze, here's my take on The 5th Floor:

Pros:

-Interesting and well paced story. I was never bored.
-Not the flashiest artwork, but did the job.
-Decent voice acting overall.
-Efficient use of sound effects and music.
-Ended well with plenty of plot twists.
-My second favorite Hiya animation after Death From Above, although 5th Floor has more polish.

Cons:

-The voice acting for the protagonist, officer Spike Kresol, sounded forced and unnatural.
-Kresol's motives for exploring the fifth floor after his meeting with the utopia representative were extremely weak. His actions might have made sense within the context of a murder investigation instead of a friendly public relations meeting.
-The few instances of humor kinda undermined the drama.

Overall I enjoyed it, and with higher production values I could see this doing very well.
