I'm having some trouble with choosing an output format.
The only output format that comes out with both the sound and the image quality undistorted is QuickTime format choosing the Animation codec. However the QuickTime format does not work in Windows Movie Maker.
I've tried exporting in every single codec for AVI files. Every single AVI file type distorts the image quality way beyond acceptable. Here's a test example of the best one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=bvK2cKDyUg0
I tried using the Uncompressed AVI format. It created a 2GB file that neither Windows Media player or Movie Maker could recognize. I understand why the file is so large, but I'm not sure why I can't play the file back.
Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do? I really would like to edit this in a movie editor so I can add other sound effects and such

I thought for sure Windows Movie Maker can import BMP sequences. If so, just render as BMPs and import the animation that way.
That's the way most movie editors work -- I do it in Premiere, for example. You *always* want to render as a series of still images, because trying to render as an AVI can be an issue if your render crashes in the middle, for example (with a sequence you can just rerender only the frames that didn't get done).
I did some preliminary checking and it does appear that WMM can import those BMP sequences, so I'd give it a shot (I don't want to install it on my machine to check).

bmp sequences
I don't have anime studio pro, so I can't export as bmp or png sequences. Though, that does sound like a good way to do it.
