Interpolate sub-layers which are GROUPS - doesn't work.

Hi all. I am fairly new to AS.
I am trying to use the switch layer to switch "mouth" group layers. The reason I need to have groups because I need to mask vector layers located within each group.
In each group I have a vector layer for mouth and one vector layer for teeth and I am gonna add a tongue vector layer, it's easier to work with a masked group cause then it's easier
to hide the teeth and the tongue inside the mouth whenever mouth movment accurs. (see the attached image)

The problem that I am having is, I can not use interploate sublayers feature to smoothly transform between groups whenever I use switch.

Is there anyway to make this work?

Thank you.

No.

Interpolation only works between vector layers of not only exact same number of points, but also same order of creation of points. These layers have to be on the same level inside one switch layer.

Try this:

Masking group layer
>lip switch layer
>>lip phoneme
>>lip phoneme
>>lip phoneme
>teeth switch layer
>>teeth phoneme
>>teeth phoneme
etc...

You'd then assign each of these the same dat file or soundtrack, depending on how you are lip-syncing. You'd use each switch layer as you would the layers you're trying to mask, and they'd still be interpolated.
