Post by Gnocchi »

K, so I accidently made a walkcycle in the mainline instead of in an action.
How do I copy these frames into an action?

All the time lines work the same way so just create a new action and insert the main time line into the action. The same way you insert an action into the main time line.

This is probably a stupid question but I'm new to this program. I have ASP 5.6 and don't understand how to do the reverse. When I create something in actions it has a name that I can insert into the main timeline. But when I create something in the main timeline there is no way to group keyframes and name them, right?

thanks

Can I remember...? NO.!

I don't currently have to do this but am pretty sure I will in time.

for example, you have two actions (i'll name them "with" and "without").
"with" have ketframes and the "without" haven't.

you must select "without" -using double click- and go to the frame 1, then you must make one click on "with" and press "insert copy" (in the action window).

this way, both action will have the same keyframes.
i hope i have explained it well.
