Bonelayer Problem

Post by Gnocchi »

Hey,
Hmm, Guess I managed to F up a bonelayer.. The bones are stuck in its offset position.
If I want to select a bone, i click the place on the drawing where lets say the arm is. And I get it selected, but the bone selected is still in its offset position.

So that the character is hard/impossible to edit.

Is there a way to fix this or am I missing something?

Like here:
http://svineri.se/bonesoffset.anme

What i want to do is add an item to his hand, and the item is too big so I need to move the handbone and tune up the bone strenght. But I cant atm

Thankful for any help
Daniel

Maybe try import the object to be added to his hand, click BIND LAYER TO BONE (hand) and then on frame 1 tune up bone strength and edit it there. On frame 0 things are all over the place. Dayeem.

Thanks,
Did a bind points and bind layer to bone. Works good.

However, the offset issue is still there.
Could be good to know why it happens.
I mean, that the bones should be spread out over the bodyparts but appears stuck to the offset position.
