I just animated a diagram with a lot of text labels on it. I wanted all the text to be the same size, and since there doesn't seem to be a way to control the size as usual via point size, I created all the text on one layer and resized it.
This caused AS to slow to a crawl and not respond for minutes at a time every time I made a change. Making all the position changes I needed to make took an unnecessarily long time and I thought at times that AS would crash completely.
Is there a way around this? or should I just avoid working with text in AS?
Thanks.

Thanks. I will probably just use After Effects to do the whole thing. Anime Studio just doesn't seem to be very useful for that sort of thing. I used it mainly for the audio scrubbing ability, and a couple of animated shapes.
Why does text cause such a problem? Is it the number of points in a layer?
When I am working with another layer in that project, there is no problem, but editing that layer causes it to flip out. Is there a limit to the practical number of points per layer?
It would be nice if text were easier to use in AS, like maybe with a plug-in.
Thanks.
Oh, by the way, it's still rendering after three hours! It's a very simple animated diagram. I was watching a webinar while it rendered, but it still should not be taking that long.
