Offset particle in sequencer causes crash

Post by chucky »

OK it took Wes to help me sort this out, offset particles by one frame in the sequencer, caused a crash on render and the file could not be opened again in anime 7 or 6.
i do love though how easy it is to read the file as text, even a doofus like me can sort of half understand what it all means.
Anime is fun for hobby stuff, but these bugs are proving so numerous that professional work is a risky proposition these days.
Stability used to be its greatest strength, what happened. :(

Oh Yeah in addition, particles are hardly random, even with a group of fifteen different particle layers I often see renders with repeated particles up to twenty at a time, making large strings of the same particles, even when the preview with an equal setting does not show such repeated strings.
Not cool.
