Morphing

so far I have got some idea now of tracing so
from a ready made chrictor of ME. How do I get to count the vertices on face for exampl so that I can creat a side view from a frunt one? Then I want to get the inbetweens.
Sorry but I am finding it hard going at the moment.

There's almost no way you can try and count vertices and match them up. The best way to create morphs is to just take an existing face and move the vertices to the new one -- shove it around like clay. If you are doing a switch layer, duplicate the layer and move the vertices to the new positions.

I make the changes using frame-by-frame animation. Maybe I'm stuck in the past, but using the switch layers and onion skin mode I draw the first image and then the image of what the character transformed into, and then using onion skins, I draw a breakdown image or two. Then I'll make some in-between frames to smooth it out.
