Nice work. I still love the artwork, but it lacks the appeal and musicality of the Goldfish video. Perhaps it's just the slower tempo though.

I love your style, but I must totally
agree with Synth. I think this is a
familiar problem that arises, when
a particular cartooning style or
vision doesn't quite line up with the
client's need.

I think the problem is with the audio itself - it sounds like it was recorded off a radio... i dont know if this is the actual final track?? (hope not) the sound is sort of flat and lifeless and unfortunately distracts from the visuals. It sounds like a filtered intro and i'm just waiting for it to drop into proper sound but it never does... it lacks umpf.
It does look a little like you're struggling a bit with the pacing? your work really suits a more manic upbeat style imho.
Love the band characters
p.s. your book is genius in places!

Nice work Mikdog!
I originally got the job to do this project but just couldn't work with their budget. But I'm glad you did it and got it done for them. I think the animation fits well. Although, isn't the song actually around 4 minutes long?

Thanks. Yep, its a terrible sound quality file I was using. I'm trying to get a better quality file to replace it and if so I'll upload the video again. Anyway, the song was 4 minutes but I suggested cutting it down to 3 minutes for video and air play as I think that's a decent time to hold an audience's attention.
I also dig the manic upbeat stuff

Lots of accents to hit.
Thanks funks > glad you dig it!

I hear Nakaaya's just been signed to SONY, so this is good...
