Hello Selgin,

Could you possibly put a link to this tutorial in your main tutorial thread?
viewtopic.php?p=85407

I have created a toolbar focused on Anime Studio and it contains a link to your main tutorial thread and I think this one really needs to be in there too. Please excuse me if it is already there, but I did not see it.

See my "NEW - Anime Studio Toolbar" thread here:

Thanks for all you do!

Joe

Yes, I love replying to old threads. I tried a basic spin following Selgin's directions and came up with the movie below.

I did the animation in an action, then inserted the action repeatedly so that it cycles. However, it stops at the end of each cycle instead of spinning in a continuous motion. How do I fix this? I tried linear keyframes, like with cycling backgrounds, and it didn't seem to do much.

The feet are sloppy too. Anyone know the most efficient way to take care of the feet, perhaps with switch layers or visibility animation? This is just an experimental character who's not fully developed.

The movie is at http://www.mediafire.com/file/6d2675j0le82v76/blue.mov

How do you all make nice shadows with the vector layers? I hate making more points than I need, and was hoping there was some sort of texturing going on to simplify things.

Hi Selgin: Love your work...you rock!

I'm having a small problem with your video tutorial on the full body turn. I can't seem to freeze the arm so it can be moved. Specifically, after 2:25 when you start to initiate the freeze pose, then you do something else I can't quite catch, which then enables you to move the entire right arm to where the left arm is. For the life of me, I've rewound several times and still can't catch all the steps. Could you please tell me what exactly you do to freeze that arm? Then I can move forward to the rest of your tutorial.

Thanks in advance -- Shakurra
