Thanks all for the comments (just got back from holiday).

@Rhoel, I recall your advice about backgrounds from another post, so I'll try to keep it up to par.

@sbtamu, selgin, I wasn't sure about the stretch and squash so thanks for the feedback. I'll adjust this in the final.

Here's are the last shots of this sequence. It isn't half as funny without the dialogue, but...there's some acting in it and also a 180-degree body turn for anyone interested in that sort of thing (the technique is the one described by Gilles using the Homer head). The background is a scratch image.

Good stuff Neeters, I kind of like not having dialog. I can pay more attention to the animation. :)

Pay attention to the hair of the woman continuing with the black line in the background at the end of the animation. It's actually also visible in your screenshot here. I would or move the background, or move the woman a bit, so it doesn't become one long hair.

The rest is looking very good!

I'll usually watch for those bad alignments and tangents, but I was just so happy to finish the animation I lost sight of the big picture. I'll be sure to fix in the final. Thanks for the feedback.

Here's the next sequence that takes place in Prof. Oak's lab: [link removed]

There's an establishing shot preceding this. It's a bit static, so here's a screenshot instead, along with a sketch that the final was traced from.

Looks great Neeters. I am in awe how clean your work is. I thought about doing a Poke Parody, I have a great idea, but I'm going to sit on it... It's just that cool :D I think your style is great, still need to pick up those comics you illustrated for. It's hard to find AP books, there are so many that when I go to look for a certain one, I'm almost always certain to not find it. I probably have those books in my collection, I just need to look. Anyhow Great job, I think the head thing is fine, for a "character" that is comic like anyhow. Iv'e seen that done before. Especially in older cartoons like "Tom and Jerry".

Here's an updated version of Oak's Lab. I added a little smear to the waving hands.

Here's the next shot in Prof. Oak's lab. Building the characters and background took a while, although the animating went fairly quickly.

The professor's head turn is based on the selgin's technique described in this thread: New improved Head Turn Technique!
