Lukas,
If it's possible, can you provide the psd file to look at? Sometimes how you create the psd transparency can effect how the edges are aliased.

Ramon Lopez pointed out that enabling 'nearest neighbour sampling' solves it. He's right, I have no more white edges! I'm curious though why you'd have it turned off? Are there any situations where nearest neighbour sampling is a bad thing?

"Nearest neighbour" is bad on most situations. Don't ever do scaling or other transformations with this.
That said, I don't experience white rims on PNGs as long as I cut out everything with a 1 px fuzzy border.

Hmm.
I don't see anything weird when scaling/transforming to be honest. Check these:

This was the initial setup, with Nearest neighbour sampling turned off. White edges everywhere...

Nearest neighbour sampling turned on.

Scaled and bend images seem to look fine? Or maybe I'm lucky because of the style?

Ok, I understand now. Nearest neighbour sampling is a bad thing, but works for now. Anyway...this issue is fixed in the next version!
