The guy on the right looks drunk or something, he is constantly swaying around in the scene. The characters look good though, make no mistake.

He is in a Coffee Shop in the Netherlands so yes you are correct he looks drunk but he is stoned / high from al the pot he smoked in the Coffee Shop.

:D

And thanks for the feedback and compliments on the characters! I really appreciate that!

The same scene with a bit different perspective to the background and setting where it is taking place:

Drunk, stoned, twitchy from a coffee-buzz... I've had plenty of experiences, but I can't say I've ever been high in a coffee shop in the Netherlands...

I will say though that even if this is exactly how it plays/played out in real life, you still have directorial control over your scene. Ideally you want to direct the viewer's eyes through your scene according to what is most important. I don't speak the language, so I'm also at a loss there, but your character on the right is twitching quite distractingly until about the 6 second mark. He calms down a bit after that, but unless the character on the left is speaking nonsensically the entire time, I'd suggest toning down your right char. movement (if nothing else at least until he is the one speaking and becomes the focus.)

No need to double post every single step of progress in two threads at the same time Baphomet.

Yeah, I would also say that about 17 posts ago this stopped being a "How Do I?" discussion and is just "Share Your Work" anyway. Probably should just stick to the other thread if you're just showcasing progress.

Also, to that point, I still think your images are rather large for the frequency of posting. A batch of several smaller ones in a single post every now and then would still effectively show how things are coming along with your work. :)

I agree with my colleagues here. If you can, try to draw your characters in ASP. But if you're like me and prefer to work in AI first, you might be interested in this post I put up a few years ago.
