Well, I didn't really plan to do this much, but you working on it spurred me on.

I ended up adding a hub that can swing and smart bone in the main layer that controls the rotation of the bone in the 90˚ blade bone layers.

I want to thank all of you who have posted on this thread I started. The ceiling fan I
was going to be using was for a 2 second clip. Thanks to your help I was able to do
my own ceiling fan (Not as wonderful as all of yours) but that is convincing enough
for the scene. Thanks again for all of your postings.

Just a side note I was always frustrated by the extrude because it was too big and there didn't seem to be anyway to scale it down...until I read the manual...

Using a style on the object to be extruded I can use the Thickness values in the Styles option menu to scale down the thickness. Wow, I've been using Moho since AS10. That was a nice find!

A simple way to animate a circular object like a wheel or fan spinning is to just draw a series of radial blurs and wiggle them back and forth.
