Wow, never tried the save as always used export this really works so much better. I use Corel Draw! and the AI always had double lines it treated lines as shapes and gave an outline! And of course older versions of Moho 'AS' there were just too many points to deal with. The SVG when I import it into Moho nothing happens at all? mine only goes up to 1.1 also the AI is version 8 ( I think that's the highest Moho will allow)Greenlaw wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 5:22 am
I don't use Affinity Designer but I know that in Adobe Illustrator I need to use the Save As... command (in other words, not the Export... command,) and choose .SVG as the format. Then, from the settings window that appears when you click Save, choose SVG Tiny 1.2.
Using this specific .SVG format will save the shapes with their fill and stroke properties for Moho, and any of the earlier format will not. I'm going to assume the same rule applies to Affinity Designer's SVG exporter.
Hope this helps.

I just tested it out on SVG it has a Unicode UTF - 16 or UTF 8 the 8 gives me something but everything is black. Not something I use that often anyway but looks like AI is the way to go (If you have to)

Ah! That's good to know! That topic came up a while back to allow a Moho script to use a 'lock' emoji in the UI. I imagine it can affect other areas of Moho too.
I noticed that the option exists in Illustrator too. I don't have to change anything when I use the Save As command, but I wonder if it will work when I change the setting for the Export As command. Will test this when I have time today.
