Ramon if you're looking for video game sounds I highly recommend using this plugin called 'Magical 8-bit Plug' from the band YMCK. You can google it. Download it and put it in your plugin directory for Audio Units, then in your audio program like GarageBand you can use different wave forms like square, triangle, sine and noise I think to make video-game sounds. I used it to make the intro and outro sounds for the music video in the signature.

Otherwise a group called TweakBench have a VST plugin called TOAD that has some really great 8-bit sfx that sound like the 8-bit games you mentioned. This is right up your alley. If you google it I'm sure you'll find it.
