Ok, after a bit of a break (busy summer), I am back at it again. Here is my latest attempt at the 11 Second Club:

Haha, nice one! And I like that it's a different concept from the other WIPs I have seen on the 11 second club forums, most seem to involve photos.

Well, managed to get my highest score so far, but not highest ranking (always depends on how many entries they receive of course).
53 out of 183 and a score of 4.85 stars. Consistently seem to be scoring around there someplace.
Preview of this month's started (though I may completely change it depending on time):
You may recognize the audio from Turner and Hooch starring Tom Hanks and a big dog.

I had this old man character I was playing with, went ahead and made another version of this month's audio clip, really just to test the rig and play with the squash n' stretch bones.

Funny ending, and nice use of the stretch on the face. Looks good!

Well, didn't do so great in October. The old man did score higher than the monster one (perhaps the gore turned some people off?). I also believe there is a bias against "flash" animation over there. But I will keep doing it anyway good excuse to keep animating each month.
Started this month's (audio is from Clear and Present Danger):

Yeah, I think the 11 second club is looking for full frame by frame traditional animation from 2d entries. I don't think that having a good concept or being entertaining is worth any points for them unless you first meet that frame by frame requirement. I have seen one "flash" style animation take first place, but I think that is an anomaly. I am interested in full animation technique, but not as interested as I am in conveying the story, so I'm taking a break over there. It is a great exercise, though and helps to keep active with animation. I love seeing your entries!
