my toilets gets more updates than AS!

All this maybe a result of Fahim's departure and the slow (or non) arrival of a replacement. Unfortunately this is bound to damage the AS user base, I know I've started thinking about looking else where.

Look elsewhere?

Let me know if you find something as cheap and good as AS.

Funny... my version still works fine even without an update.



p.s. This is exactly why most software developers NEVER EVER EVER say when an update is suppose to come out or possible new features.

Hell, my Moho still works like a charm. What's an update going to do - make you a better animator? Pff.

You'd be better off animating a bouncing ball over and over than getting an update for a piece of software, that, IMO, Moho 5.4 is pretty much awesome.

Anyway some bugs should be fixed (swf export problems for example).
It could be glad that someone from e-frontier post SOMETHING...
Let's be patient and let's have fun with the current one that still being awesome!

i've seen that bug, that line across the middle...bug?

anyway, i'm pretty much a newbie ASP5 user, still climbing up that slope, though.

it's hard to say when will i finally be done with this tool since it fills a niche in my current toolboox, a unique tool for simplifying movements across frames.

it's also tough to defend the issue of not following through an upgrade cycle, though it works pretty well to those who don't like to see any upgrades.

I'm happy with the windows version so far. Other OS's do need an update more then windows. So I understand the complaints. And the fact the update was suppose to be around month ago.

What we need is for someone to reply to our questions and needs. I've seen Mike on here in the middle of the night and he hasn't posted a response either. So it's not just efrontier ignoring us.

As for other animation software, I'll always keep Moho/AS. But it would be nice to find something similar that had better feedback from the developers.

Right now I just want those Mac fixes.

I'm not looking yet, but I am looking for a Linux version, because I'm trying to switch from Windows to Linux. I don't see any point in buying the current version of Linux when an update is supposed to be right around the corner.

Doesn't look like it so far.

The anticipation is the worst. Been expecting it for quite awhile now. I wonder what surprises are in store.

DAZ used to do this too, with updates to Hexagon etc. By the time the update was actually released, people were getting downright nasty. In the end, it was usually an anti-climax, and that generated even more vitriol.
