Don't worry Vilma, as soon as I get this all worked out, I plan on making a tutorial of the technique.

Chewy, the older rig did need to be layer flipped at certain points to complete a full rotation, but the latest one can do a full 360. Well, at the very least it does the same as the old one. It just depends on how exact I want the 3D effect to be.

Wow! I just spent days working on just the front view of a rig...wish I'd have seen this post earlier

I downloaded the first rig you made synthsin...is the newest one available somewhere? Thanks again for this brilliant discovery...

Give me some time. I still need to work out some things on the new rig.

synthsin,

Wow you made a lot of advancements. I did finally figure how the hand worked to a point. I am using it in the builds I been working on. The 3D look is so nice to have, makes it look more like hand drawn then flash.

Keep up the good work and can't wait to see how you worked out the extra detail.

This has got to be the most impressive work I have seen with ASP - had I not known it I wouldn't have thought it possible - synth, you've moved the goal posts.

This solves one of the hardest problems in 2D vectoring, how to create the fore arm joint crease. Genius stuff.

All I have to figure out now is how to build one! There goes the free time I didn't have.

Look forward to the final tutorial.

Are you sure this isn't some sort of practical joke syn is playing on us using cell-shaded 3d? Just kidding  Nice work by the way, any thoughts on doing a tutorial once you get this perfected (or have you already?)

Thanks guys. I do plan on doing a tutorial once I get it done. I know I'm terribly slow, but I hope it will be worth the wait.

Is he going to show us the finale results or what? Also this is a old topic and should be some pages back and not on the current page of new projects. Does commenting on a old topic put with the new ones ?

I doubt we on this forum will get a tutorial now that synth has left.

he and a few others have created their own animation forum.

If you go into the misc chit chat thread, there is a topic there that I posted titled "people leaving the forum?" or something of that sort. There is a link someone in there that selgin posted that will take you to the forum.
