A Newbie's view of Anime Studio

A couple days ago I downloaded AS and started playing around with it for the first time.
Just for fun, I'm keeping a sort of informal blog of my progress and keeping notes on what I'm learning. For anyone who is interested in how a newbie might approach AS, you can follow my adventures at
http://fiziwig.com/anim/
I'm including the actual AS files in my blog so future generations of newbies can look at my silly mistakes and perhaps learn from them.

Great job!
I love your site and the way you build on such a simple thing as an eyeball turning and then using it with a background scene.
Simple explanations and samples of the end results and even the Anime Studio file. Love it. Keep up the good work.
Hmmm... a retired programmer. Maybe you can give Vern and Genete a run for their money.

with scripting etc.
Aren't they just the greatest guys on this forum? Among others of course.

That's pretty cool!
But VP6 is a flv codec. It won't play on my system in avi format.

Thanks.
RE: VP6 codec, I discovered that when I tried to show the animation to a friend on his computer. I guess I need to upload it to some video sharing site. Any recommendations beside YouTube?

I fixed the page so that the completed animations are embedded for easy viewing. I also moved it to

hey thanks for sharing your progress
in anime!
it is interesting to watch your discoveries unfold.
I am fairly new to the program too and have
come to appreciate its tools.

Hi, all! I am newbie here and just saying hello. Few weeks ago my roads crossed with Anime Pro and found that it's cool software.
