Merging 2 Fill Color channel key frames?

Stupidly I've been filling vector layers whilst skipping up and down the timeline without realising at certain points my image is not wholly filled.

I've moved the 2 color channel keyframes to frames 1 and 2 on the timeline, so on frame 1 half the vector is filled, whilst by frame 2 the whole thing is. It's not a simple image and I've done it on a few times.

Therefore, how can I merge the 2 fill color channel keyframes so that the whole vector is filled on frame 1, without re-filling it all!?

Many thanks

I'm sure someone has a much better fix, but perhaps you could choose the start frame to be 2 under project settings.

Doesn't it work to just erase those keys on #1? From your description the fill on #2 is complete.

good idea! - but there are a few other things on frame 1 so that wouldn't work.

unfortunately deleting key on #1 deletes certain parts of the fill!

thanks for your replies!

First make sure your time line settings have selected fills and strokes checked to be visible in the time line. "Selected" items/channel icons in the time line are "red".

Then you need to select each fill shape that has keys you don't want. Look at the time line to see where only those exist along the selected shape's time line channel. Then decide which keys for these fills are the correct ones. Copy those keys to frame 0 and delete all the others.

As you already discovered it is best to make fill and stroke changes on frame 0 unless you want them to animate. The steps above put those keys you created by mistake back on frame 0 where they belong.

You must have the time line settings correct so you can see the SELECTED shapes keys, not ALL shapes that have keys.
