Does anybody knows how to use PNG image files to setup them corectly as a character????
For example I have TORSO, Left upper arm, left lover arm, Right upper and right lower arm extracted from picture in PhotoShop and exported as PNG files with alpha chanels. So i imported them in Anime Studio Pro 5 and then I created one Bone Layer and I placed all of my Image.Png files under that Bone Layer. Thn I used ADD BONE tool to make the spine in the TORSO and bones in both arms. After that result is lot of deformations and ripped look of the pic. I don't know why. I turned on REGIONAL BINDING, I changed Bone Strenght, I tried to join them in one body with OFFSET BONE but I get awfull results..... :(

Does anybody knows how to setup bones in PNG image parts that represent character's body when joined together?

Thanks

Don't use region binding for images. That is stinky. Use flexible binding. Also keep in mind that if you DO use flexible binding every bone will distort the images a little bit. If there is a spot that isn't moving correctly add in an extra bone to control it.

Or try this layer binding technique instead:

Images are not distorted by the bones. It's a "puppet" technique. You can also "mix and match" both techniques. Using bone binding for one layer and flexible binding on another (like arms so one image can be used).
