How to solve the problem I have. I have Image Layers and each Image Layer represent body part. I croped photo of Hulk in PhotoShop and I have Hip, Torso, Head, Left leg...etc. I imported them in Anime Studio Pro 5 but I can't figure out howrigg them to work properly. I found one tutorial about "rigging a Caveman" at this link http://www.e-frontier.com/article/artic ... 306/1/812/ but if I do as they said in tutorial I have to choose every single body part and move, than go to Layers Menu and choose second and to repeat that 100 times...It lasts too long and it is boring. I also followed this tutorial file:///C:/Program%20Files/e%20frontier/Anime%20Studio%20Pro/help.html with AS Pro5 default tutorial/exercise files and here is an example of what I need.
This "Hula girl" has all image layers under one, just one Bone Layer and I can move her body parts in a second , every one of them without of loosing time to switch between them in layers menu. How to achieve this ? How to join Image Layer parts and bone them so that I can move every part of sceleton in that moment and create pose for my character in seconds. I know this IS possible because I saw Hula Girl file but I don't know how they done it...

Thanks

The caveman tutorial second option is close to what you want, but instead of putting the bones on each layer just create one master bone layer and drag all of these layers so they are under it. Now put your bones on this layer and you'll be set.

Note that you'll be better off if you separate the parts and use the bone offset tool to move the parts to the right place. This is described in the online tutorials.

Yes, I read the tutorial 6 times, very slowly, step by step and I just can't understand. Is there any good tutorial on this "rig" subject ? There are lot of finished tutorials like Hula Girl but how to came in that stadium. How to rig character (vector or image whatever) in that way ?

In your original post you indicate that you have the image parts. that's step one.

Thn you create a bone layer and drag all the images inside or under that bone layer.

Now create the bones for the skeleton. Use the "Add bone" tool and draw the bones, adjust them to match the layout of your character. Then bind each image layer to the appropriate bone (hula girl tutorial).

That hula girl tutorial is as basic as it gets. Select image layer, bind layer tool, click, done. If it isn't clear then you need to study the help and tutorials about bones and layers.

Look at this image:

Bone layer, with images inside the bone layer.

Now create a skeleton:

Check out this tutorial using bone offset:
In this tutorial just replace the vector layers with images and use bone binding or flexible binding.

It's all in there. Every thing you need to know to get started is in the help and tutorials.

Thanks a LOOOOOT Heyvern. You opened my eyes. I followed the tutorials and although english isn't my mother language I find all helps and tutorials very easy to undertsand. Except Bone Setup which is the most difficult thing in every 2D or 3D animation software I have ever use. And I used all kind of animation stuff. So I think that Anime Studio is very user friendly and easy to learn but sometimes I just need step by step explanation like you gave to me. Thanks again. All the best.
