I graduated from UNLV -- does that count?
(Not sure, with the web, why you need to find folks locally unless it's just to have some beers or something :>)

Doesn't tell you something, that no one responds? Either no one is willing to network on a whim, or there is no on to network on this forum. Try one of the social networks (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc.). I doubt you would have much success, though. You need to present yourself better. No one is going to join your network, unless they are offered something in return. Otherwise it's socializing, not networking.

I thought with all the Indian Casinos that Las Vegas was going belly up...

Everyone in Vegas is either committing a crime or solving crimes in one of those really cool lab/club housess they have. No one has time for animation? Do they?
If I lived in Vegas I would have a hard time concentrating on AS. Even the cops dress like strippers! (according to that documentary series "CSI".) Have you seen those outfits the Police woman wear? Don't even get me started on Miami.

I'm still waiting for a CSI episode dealing with a dead animator ... or better, a dead animation producer. "That's an odd bit of paint on his jacket... " "Well, I analyzed it, it is a piece of ancient cel painting from about 1960, ..." In the end he should've been killed for not paying his animators enough money. Hey, that's a totally realistic plot!

I haven't been on here in a while and see that no one has any significant thing to post for my thread.
So If I am looking for assistance in doing animation, What is the going rate for having someone do an original animated program (23 minutes) and I want all rights associated with the short once finished.

I remember that place....next door to Circus Circus and used to sell beer cheep. The last time I went to Vegas I didn't see the sign anymore advertising the cheep prices.
