How do i make the CGI OR PHOTOSHOP BACKGROUNDS LOOK LIKE TRADITIONAL OR HAND PAINTED RATHER THAN CGI?

It's pretty simple once you know how. Open your file in Photoshop(I use Photoshop Elements but its the same thing for what your doing.) Then go to the Filters drop-down menu. On the Artistic menu select Paint Daubs. You can then mess with you picture to make it like it was painted. You won't get perfect results, but it will look a whole lot better.

The character was made in Anime Studio 5 Pro. The background in Vue 6 Espirt.
