About Character adding switch layers to a boned character

Ok Guys lets say i have a character fully boned in a bone layer but, i want to add swtich layers for mouth positions. Now i know you have to bind the points but, how the hell do you get the switch layers to function with the bone layers without distortion? Or am i going about it the wrong way?

You bind the switch layer to a bone - via layer binding. Everything inside the switch layer stands for itself.
