Under Scripts->Other there is a script menu called "Auto Weld"
I cannot make that script to work. Can you?

Yeah, it works like Fazek's translate tool. Select two overlapping points and the menu option welds them. Obsolete, IMHO.
It should probably just be called 'weld' in the menu, since it doesn't appear to do any thing automatically.

But looking the code it seems that welds all pairs of selected points. But I cannot make it work. I draw two shapes and select the overlapping points and running the script doesn't do nothing. Selecting one of the overlapping doesn't d anything too.
Can you write a recipe to use it? I don't have any response from the script.

Okay, well I tested it with open end lines, and it worked. It seems that at least one of the points in each pair has to be open ended. In this case welding multiple pairs works.
Let me know if that works for you.

I never got it to work either. I then discovered that Fazeks tool is much better. Just select the points and hit space.

Yeah Fazek's tool makes it odsolete. Fazek's tool doesn't need an open end line, but I guess if you need to do multiple welds at once you'd need this menu script.
