Okay, this happened enough that I had to figure out the cause.

In the styles window, the delete option is greyed out for used styles. This is good. The problem is, if you have an unused style applied to your default fill, if you try to delete it AS crashes. Every time.

I lost a fair amount of work to this bug. It seems that this case should also grey out the delete option.

Confirmed under linux.

But I have a difference: used styles can be deleted and affected shapes return to its original colours.

This bug still exists it ASP 5.6. Appearantly I do this quite a bit. Enough that I've had 5.6 crash three times since install. You'd think I'd remember not to do this.
