Hi, I'm just a begginer,

I tried to click render from the file menu but I just couldn't find it.

If,you have 5.4,then go to content paradise.com. Download 5.5,first then go to smith-micro,to get 5.6.Get 5.5 first.

Indeed, the new 5.6 version has Render in the file menu. It's a free update if you're already registered.
