Translation Test
Hello,
I am french, so sorry for the translation into English.
I just bought AnimeStudioPro.
And am unable to import Illustrator files.
Layer AnimeStudioPro appears in, but there is nothing on the screen
Thank you for your answers

I can think of 3 possibilities (there are probably a lot more):
1. The file is huge, and you are looking at the space between things
2. The file is tiny, and you can't see it
3. The file is from the latest version of Illustrator, and AS cannot read it (I don't have Illustrator, so I am guessing here)
What I would try:
1. Export in an earlier file format, see if that works
2. Export a really simple shape (eg, a filled circle), and try to find that in AS
3. Do you have Flash? If so, import a shape into Flash and then re-export as an .ai file
...some things to try, anyway...!

merci
il faut enregistrer sous le format Illustrator 8,
et ça fonctionne,
(AnimeStudio Pro ne lis pas les fichier Illustrator 10)
je vais essayer avec des calques...
-----------------------
Thanks
Must be saved in the Illustrator 8,
And it works,
( AnimeStudioPro do not read the file Illustrator 10)
I will try with layers ...

----------
You to write "Not at all".
So how am I doing?
I illustrator 10, and if I save my file with the "AI" 10
And although it does not open in aminestudioPro,
But if I record it with the "AI" 8, and it opens in AnimeStudio ....
Are there any other way to do?

Anime Studio can't translate a lot of features in AI 10.
Anime Studio can only read basic features, strokes, fills. That's it. Saving as version 8 is the best solution for importing AI files.
