Can you import a character from Photoshop?

Hi there. This is Seku.
I'm new around here and I got Anime Studios for some time and I am very new about it. I've seen how it works and all and understand some of it. But I want to ask. I'm a deviant artist and have been work with Photoshop for over 4 years and my question is that, is it possible to import a character that I have drawn and colored in Photoshop? Please I would like to know as soon as I can because I'm very exited. I want to take my art work into the next level.
Thanks!

If you log on to the efrontier site, you should be able to find a script which will allow you to export Photoshop files into AS, preserving the layer structure. If you just want to export the occasional image, use PNG with transparency -- that seems to work best.

Do you have Photoshop CS, CS2 or CS3? The script will not work on earlier versions of Photoshop.

the script file is in the folder "extra files", in the directory where AS is installed.

The script in question is for Photoshop CS only.

Of course you can! You just have to export those images in a format that AS can understand, PNG, JPG and whatever else is listed in the TUTORIALS AND HELP FILES.

The script for photoshop was created very recently and is a Photoshop CS only script for PHOTOSHOP CS. If you only have Photoshop 7 you must export each layer from photoshop as a PNG or JPG and import to AS as an image layer.
Read the tutorials... read the help. I almost wish Mike had never created that stupid photoshop script... it causes more confusion than anything else.
p.s. I'm still waiting for the pick my nose and take a pee scripts. I hate having to do that myself.

This little script have become so so so useful for me this days. I´m working in a project in which all characters are scanned pictures in photoshop layers.
without it pass them to AS would be a nightmare.
I don´t think it causes so many problems. it´s actually so confuse as any AS script, they are always hard to install. the difference between the photoshop script and AS scripts is that there are more
beginners (I suppose it´s not the right word) which want it.
