Hello,I'm new to Anime Studio and I seem to have some problems with bone rigging.
Everytime I move one of the arm bones upwards it disorts the body and makes my character look as if it has a hunchback.I've been trying to solve this problem but nothing works.Anyone have any suggestions as to what is causing this problem?

try opening your bone layer
go to the bones tab
click on region binding
it may be the problem

Use bone offset. There is a tutorial for creating characters that talks about bone offset.
But yes... using region binding will help if the parts of the body aren't too close to each other. If it doesn't help completely eliminate the problem then the next step would be bone offset or even point binding to bones.
I have no idea how the character is set up on frame 0.

Damn, I can't even view your whole screen capture. That's a lot of real estate. I wish I had that much screen to work with. Of course, I can't remember when my tool palette was that small either.

My screen is that big, but I would never do a screen capture of it. I always crop it down. Also I prefer to keep the working window approximately to the size of my intended out put resolution. It is hard to judge your composition if the window is so big you can't see the whole picture.
----
I had an art director years ago who always carried around a reduction glass. The opposite of a magnifying glass. He would use this to "shrink" layouts and comprehensives so he could evaluate the composition.
This was in the ancient times when the desk in desktop publishing was the most expensive item you used, animation was still done by hand and gas was $1 a gallon.

Am I the only one who actually still keeps their resolution set to 600x800? I have a 17" monitor I just like all my icons and stuff big- but in some apps I have to manually change it to a higher resolution... and there's lots of websites that don't show properly. I'm just stubborn about adjusting to a higher resolution lol

and yea I have to zoom out to 40% (using the new internet explorer zoom feature) to view ur screencap. and then all the text is impossible to read. how about you resize that sucker to make it easier for people to read this post.

Does Windows have a better screen grab yet? Capture selection? You think they would by now. Mac has had a good screen grab utility for ages I can't imagine why MS doesn't steal that idea too.

Not complaining I think that is fine concept to steal from the Mac.

um.. prntscn? lol. Actually I'm still on XP but there are plenty of third party screen capture apps. I have yet to find a good screen recorder that can record at a decent framerate and resolution on my computer though.

Does prntscrn have an option to draw a box around a selection? I still use win2K on my PC (stop laughing) and it just grabs the whole darn screen.

Vern, in
this thread I posted about a color picker for Windows. It does selection box screen capture as well.

That's perfect. Scale the window down and get comfortable sized screen shots. Thanks.
