Hey everyone... I was making a eye ball were the eye was masked inside the white part of the eye ( forgot the name ) Well, I did that messed around with it then I'm Like... "Hey, How about I add a motion blur to make it look cool!" So I did that... Then see the eye is still in the mask but the motion blur part of it is out side of the mask... how do I fix this?
( PS: I'm using anime studio 5 por 5.6... )

I haven't tested this to see if it's a bug in AS or not... if it is, the best thing would be to do the motion blur in another application after rendering.
The motion blur in AS isn't... the best. It is basically just overlaying nearby frames at different opacities. There is no actual "blurring". Other programs with more specialized features provide "real" motion blur that is better.
when I get a chance I will check into this masking/blur problem. I don't see how this would be the case since masks are just like any other layer and would do the same thing as all the other layers.
Could it be that your mask is key framed differently? If the keys for the eye and the mask are offset maybe the eye is "coming out" of the mask?

Just tested this.

That's a horrible bug!
It seems that the motion blur opacity settings override the mask. Reducing both to 0 ends the problem, but also ends your visible motion blur.

Oh, I definitely agree! This is a bug and should not be happening.
Would a moderator kindly move this thread to the bug section? Thanks.

Okay, it's done.
Just don't ask me to make your biceps larger or your hair thicker. That is outside my powers.
