Output format

I'm having some trouble with choosing an output format.
The only output format that comes out with both the sound and the image quality undistorted is QuickTime format choosing the Animation codec. However the QuickTime format does not work in Windows Movie Maker.
I've tried exporting in every single codec for AVI files. Every single AVI file type distorts the image quality way beyond acceptable. Here's a test example of the best one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=bvK2cKDyUg0
I tried using the Uncompressed AVI format. It created a 2GB file that neither Windows Media player or Movie Maker could recognize. I understand why the file is so large, but I'm not sure why I can't play the file back.
Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do? I really would like to edit this in a movie editor so I can add other sound effects and such
