I can't think of any reason someone would want their masking setup to be altered by 'sort by depth'. Especially now that we have animated layer sorting.

I could really use an option (at least) that would allow my masking to work like the layers are ordered in the layer palette, and ignore the z-depth sort. But only for the masking.


My feature requests get more obscure every day.
