Scaling points

Hey there. Is there an automated way that points can be scaled unevenly? What I'm looking for is some way of selecting a whole bunch of points and when I scale them, either horizontally or vertically, the points on one side scale quicker than the points on the other side.

I know points can be unevenly scaled manually, but not only is it time consuming but it's not as consistent as I'd like.

Well there use to be a modified scale tool by Macton, but I've asked and asked and no ones seems to have it. It could scale from any selected point. You'd select all the points you want to scale and then ctrl scale on the point you want the scaling to be from/towards. It is terrible that things like this have been lost.

Now if you need it to do an uneven vertical and horizonal scale at the same time, you could try 'perspective points' and then just scale the whole thing to keep one end 'more stable'. If that makes sense.
