Lost S/N

I had AS Pro on my Macbook but lost it when the hard drive died and had to be replaced. I was told by the good people at Apple that all they could do is give me a 20% discount if I wanted to purchase the software again. Does anyone know how I can get a new S/N without having to rebuy the software? I threw the box away like a dummy and really don't want to have to shell out another $200.

Assuming you registered the software I'd just contact Smith-Micro and see what they can do for you.

Apple is only a third party broker here -- what you need to do in all of these cases is to go to the Software Maker themselves.
