quick method to match zoom of image

I'm adding another image layer to a scene, but I would like to have the new image layer (which imports a slightly modified copy of the original image in the first image layer) line up exactly with the original image layer.

It seems surprisingly difficult to get the outer boundaries of the two same sized image layers to line up. It is just scaling and positioning, but I don't see a numerical field to set x,y and scale, you just use the tools with the mouse.

Is there another method that I'm missing?

When you select the Scale layer tool there are three numeric input fields below the menu at the main window. This area is called "Tool Box Options" according to the Main Window built in help.

Doh!

Can't believe I missed that. I was looking for a dialog box or somewhere in a layer property. That's the best place for it, appropriate values to the tool.

I was able to align immediately by cutting and pasting the scale and position data.

Thanks.
