Is it possible to have overlapping cycles...it always seems to stop my first cycle when i add another one however many frames ahead.

If the cycles are involving different points/bones then you can overlap them. You just need to set them up on the selected point/bone motion channels.

When you change the 'selected' channels interpolation to cycle, it will show on both the motion and selected motion channels, but that's just so you can find it when those points/bones aren't selected. It won't hinder any overlapping.

You cannot have two cycles in the same timeline. When you set a key in a timeline, the preceeding cycle will be stopped at that point.

Two options:
- Create the second cycle as a copy of the first one, with the additional movement integrated.
- Keep separate cycles on different timelines. Sometimes this means to break down a character into more sub-layers.

Yet another possible feature request. Being able to "add" bone motion from actions instead of "replace".
