How Do I Save a Newly Created Character?

I've created several characters within anime studio projects. How do I save those characters as characters as opposed to animation files? I would like to have them readily available for any animation, as the pre-fab characters that came with the program are. In other words, I'd like to set things up so I can import my characters into an animation rather than open the animation in which they were created. Any help here?

Just save your project(the one your created your character in).
Then when your in the file(the one you plan on doing your animation in) go to file>import>anime studio object. Find your character file(anme) and select it and click "ok".
He/she/it is now inside your new project.
Hope that helps

Or you can go one step further and add them to the Library folder in your AS folder. If you create a folder called "My Characters" inside the library folder and save your character files there then anytime you want to add them to a scene just press File/Import/My Characters and you can choose which character you want added.
(Works for any resource, but you cannot nest folders within folders -- that is, only the top layer in the library is available to create folders which can be reached in this manner).
