In Linux Alt+backspace, Alt+C and Alt+V does not work for managing keyframes.
Pressing any of the alt-keys deselects the current selected keys.

Tried on Ubuntu Studio 8.04 64-bit and Ubuntu 8.04 32 bit.

There is a trick I've found:
If you select the kyeframes with the mouse (drag or click) MEANWHILE the ALT key is pressed, and KEEP IT PRESSED, you can later press BACKSPACE, C or V to delete, copy or paste them.

Of course the time cursor must be in the proper place. if MEANWHILE ALT IS PRESSED, you click the time cursor with the mouse it would modify the start frame. To move the cursor you can use the mouse wheel instead.
