Hi All,
I'm totally new to these animation shenanigans.
I have considerable experience with Mac / Final Cut Pro and Video production in general however.
I just wanted to share that I'm really liking this AS software and the support I've received from this forum. The AS tutorials are great too.
About two weeks ago I decided I was going learn animation, make one and put it up on YouTube. (-Cut out type of animation - like Monty P or JibJab.)
I spent a week with Toon Boom and then bailed. I just didn't like it. I don't know why.. just clunky, non-intuitive, I guess.
Anyway thanks, you all.

ps. I think Smith-Micro should buy PapaG ( develop / work out the bugs ) and integrate it into AS

It's always nice to here from another convert. (We'll be handing out fliers at the airport soon. )

There are a couple of great Papagayo Mods floating around the forum. I'd much rather leave it open source so people can keep improving it as needed. I wouldn't count on Smithmicro for any of that.
