Image Texture effect as fill

Is there some maximum number of shapes that can be filled with a bitmap image? I've got four shapes on two layers, but the last two don't display correctly.
The image texture stretches OK on the other layers, but on the final two layers the fill color leaks through. On one, one edge has it, almost like a shadow though no shadow is enabled.
On the other, there is no texture - it is all the fill color.
Is this a bug? I've spent a while and a workaround would be to render the good ones and reimport as a .png - though flexibility would be reduced.
I'm trying to narrow if it is my use of the tools, a bug, or a limitation.

Does the same happen when you duplicate the file and erase the correct layers? Four shapes only make it unlikely that it's a memory problem, but one can't be sure.
- Is it the same image you use for different shapes?
- How big is the image?
- What's the shape of the shapes?
From your description I think I had a similar problem: an image texture would not fill the entire shape, no matter which settings I chosed. I put it away at that time with no solution since I seemed to be the only one with that problem.
If you could zip the anme file together with the texture files and upload it somewhere, we could have a closer look.

Yes, they were all using the same image. The shapes were rectangles, fairly close but slightly off to keep things from being too uniform. I didn't try the test you suggested. I tried copying shapes that worked, but the copies contained the error. I tried copy the style, and that also didn't work.
I tried copying the shapes which were displaying correctly and it wouldn't work. I'm guessing there was some sort of bug, because there seemed no explanation.
After spending way too much time on it. I just deleted all the layers containing the shapes and started by loading from scratch and it worked.
Don't have an explanation, but had to move on.
Good idea about isolating the objects in question, on a copy of the anime file, I'll try that in the future.

Just a tip for the future: if multiple linking to the same bitmap causes trouble, duplicate the bitmap file and name the copies differently.
