It's been a while since I've used my anime studio.. I think this is a pretty basic question.. (but I couldn't find the answer with a search)


How do I animate the opacity of of a group to do a fade in?

I have a group that contains multiple image layers.. I want that group layer to fade in behind another layer.. but when I go to the timeline and place a keyframe at frame one.. and then move down the timeline and change the layer settings of the group layer to a different opacity. i dont see it fade in.. am i going about this wrong?

That sounds right, but you'll only see the effect if you render.

Thanks. forgot that some things only show up upon rendering. I'll try rendering and see if I got the result I was going for.
