Windeffekts

Hi

If i have a scene with grass, trees, hair and clothes and what it wobble in the wind. what is the easiest way to do this? Must i animate every bones or?

Use fan bones ... (scnr)

Well, if you want this, you have to do it. You could possibly group some stuff, as not to have a separate bone for each blade of grass. Maybe there's a solution with particles, I don't know.

But I'd suggest to test first if you really need all that. There's a saying among actors, "Don't limp on every step. Limp every three steps, so the audience remembers." The same goes for animation. I remember having seen some anime where the effect of overall windyness was achieved by just animating some tips of grass on a uniformly green area, or just one branch waving in front of an otherwise stiff tree. Clever staging helps a lot.

If you have AS pro you can do:
Menu>File>Import>User Movies>A1
Set the end frame to be 300.
It has some nice wind effect there.

Yes. i already study that usermovie. il looks realy nice. but stil i have to solve wind in clothes.

Probably the easiest bet for clothes in the wind would be some animated noise (vector layer settings). But if your character is mostly animated by bones, you could easily animate the clothes with point motion and cycle the keyframes.
