She Farted And Created The World
Hello everyone.
I seldom post here much anymore, due to insane amount of work, but still check by from time to time to check for hints and stuff.
I've recently completed a new animation "She Farted And Created The World" which you can see on vimeo.
check it out

Wonderful job.
It reminded me of the animated sequence at the end of Wall-e.
Is there a "cinematic" or "animation" term for that "style"? Not the "cut out" style but the flowing, continuously connected scene style. I see that every once in a while and really like it. there is a recent series of Microsoft commercials I think, that use this style.
There is a similar type of scene from that otherwise horrible movie, "Mission to Mars" where the "aliens" show the origins of life on earth in a seamless progression of change.

Thanks everyone

I'm not sure, I've always said "one-shot". The one-shot-wonder. Children of Men had loads of scenes where it was done in one-shot and it looks incredible. inspirationcore!heyvern wrote: Is there a "cinematic" or "animation" term for that "style"? Work flow order: Pen+paper, Scan (600dpi), Photoshop (cut, save as PNG), After Effects (everything else). I love After Effects nowadays, it just works better for mixing various medias in it. I've sort of neglected poor anime studio... might return back to her one day!I'm curious..what programs did you use for what tasks?

Going to bump this (sorry), but it would be awesome if peeps can pop on over to Virgin Media Shorts and view, vote, fan, comment. It's doing really well at the moment... but with your help it could do even more awesomely!
So... pop on over.
