how or what do i do.

to get started with Anime Studio. there is already a partial picture of a guy. is there a way to animate him or get rid of him and start with something else.
To stat fresh:
File/New
To animate existing character:
Drag timeline along to any point other than frame "0" and use bone manipulation tool to animate.
