Shading window

We need a window, like the actions one, which you bring up when you need it, for colouring and shading shapes, effects and so on. It needs to function like the bone dynamics panel, staying open while you select different shapes.

More flexibility with the shading itself is something I'm sure a lot of us would really appreciate, but lets not forget the implementation and how we access and use it.

I've got a handle on shading in Anime, but imagine how much quicker and easier it would be to get good results if it weren't so clunky.

That one's on my ever increasing list of things to script. I think most, if not all, of that could be put into a drop down menu for a tool. Could definitely do it like the dynamic menu.

This is on my list, so if MC doesn't do it for the next version I'll eventually get around to it.

That sounds awesome Wes.

Imagine how sweet it would be if instead of running the gauntlet of
popup windows every time you wanted to make the smallest change,
you had a window with colour wheels and shading tools right there.
Better implementation of shading, maybe built in mask previews
for shading effects, an expandable number of shading slots - or stackable
shapes on the same geometry.
Animatable effects over time, like After Effects controls/actions for shapes.

That would rule.
