So what would be the main feature implemented in Anime Studio ver. 6, anyone can predict?
Note : this isn't a feature request thread.

Perhaps it's the "have a good idea and finish a complete movie" button? Seriously: show me the film which couldn't be finished because of a feature AS is lacking, and I show you a filmmaker who was too lazy in thinking or researching.

If I had to guess I think that ST is simply saying there really isn't anything important missing in AS so it's almost impossible to guess what Mike will add.
There are dozens and dozens of minor improvements he can (and hopefully, will) make, but I don't see anything huge that jumps out at me, and I'm guessing most people around here feel the same way or you'd have some responses to this thread.
But if you had to hold a gun to my head -- um, better script access to everything? (That kind of betrays my prejudice on what *I* want rather than what Mike is liable to do, though).

Ha ha! It's just English idiom -- it means "if you were to force me to make a decision..." No violence is involved; mkelley has always seemed like a reasonable guy to me!

You know, I often feel like it would be nice if forum members were required to enter their location. Seeing what country, or even just that english is not their native tongue, would save on a lot of misunderstanding.
Of course age and perhaps sex might help too, but there are no fields for those.
Anyway, back on topic.
I assume that the next version will be as revolutionary as the last update, as far as new features go. Animated layer order was incredible, and I don't see Mike resisting the urge to top himself. Aside from SM probably being anxious to make a good showing of its first real AS version (which may be a big assumption on my part).

Don't make assumptions about people's command of
English based on where they are Wes, I'm in Australia,
only speak one language, and I'm not very good at it!
(kidding. The accent does make us sound like crows though.)

Yeah, I know where you're from Adrian (and your cohort, Chucky). Nah, I always figure it's safe to assume Brits, Aussies, and Yanks basically understand each other. I've always been good with those accents. We generally would understand each others figures of speech.
Being a fairly international forum though, it is nice to know when our idioms may confuse others.

Who are you calling an idiom?
(Sorry, rendering, I have time on my hands.)

Actually I thought english was your native tongue, Realsnake. You make out much better than some others around here.
